You can connect one or more domains to your Box at any time, regardless of whether they are hosted with us or another provider.
💡 Note that domains can only be connected to Boxes that have already been activated (purchased).
All you need are the tools in the Raidboxes Dashboard and - if it's an external domain - access to the domain management at your domain provider.

Domain options overview
To connect your own domain to the Box you can choose between the following options:
(1) Buy domain: At Raidboxes you can buy a new domain and connect it to the Box in the second step.
(2) Transfer domain: If you already own a domain, you can transfer the domain to Raidboxes and connect it to the Box in the second step.
(3) Connect external domain: If you already have a domain, you can connect it to the Box as an external domain. Therefore you need access to the DNS management of your current domain provider.

How long does it take to transfer a domain?
Please note that transferring a domain (DNS) can take up to 48 hours. This means domain changes will not be displayed immediately.
What are the advantages of domains from Raidboxes?
If you host your domains with us, the administration of your domains, Boxes and DNS entries is much simpler. For example, you can easily create subdomains, change your Box's displayed domain and connect domains and Boxes with a single click from the dashboard.
