๐Ÿ‘‰ Important: The Power Up only applies to boxes on the old infrastructure. Boxes that were created on the new infrastructure already have full performance and do not need a power-up. We show you how you can quickly determine whether your box is an RB 2.0 box in the article Determining the server location of the box.

You can have a free performance boost added to your Fully Managed Boxes that are on our old infrastructure. Your box will be equipped with an additional vCore and a total of 4 GB RAM. So if you ever need more performance for one of your Fully Managed Boxes, simply contact us via the support chat or by email. We can then add the extra performance directly.

There will be a short downtime during the upgrade

Your box must be completely restarted once for the upgrade. This leads to a short downtime of 1 to 2 minutes. However, you do not have to do anything else for the upgrade. The IP of your box will not change as a result of the upgrade.

As a Fully Managed customer, the Power Up is free of charge for you ๐Ÿ™‚

๐Ÿ’ก Info: The Power Up is assigned to your contract. This means that every box that you connect to the contract automatically receives the Power Up. If you downgrade your plan to Starter or Mini, the Power Up is automatically removed. The same applies to a plan upgrade to one of our High Traffic plans.

Another way to get more power without having to change your plan.

Simply clone your box from one of your backups via the dashboard and the new box will be created automatically on RB 2.0. We will show you exactly how to do this and what other steps you need to consider in the article Manual server move by cloning a box.
