In July 2022 we introduced a new subscription management with many new features and advantages over the old one. Instead of two services, our own Dashboard and BS Payone, we now use three new providers, namely Chargebee, GoCardless, and checkout.com
Your benefits as a Raidboxes customer
Our new subscription and billing system allows us to offer a much more flexible discount model and drastically reduce the number of invoices you receive:
Flexible pricing model: We’ve replaced Bulk plans with a tiered pricing model to ensure you always receive the best price based on the total number of Boxes you purchase.
Additional discounts for semi-annual and annual payments: If you pay semi-annually or annually, you’ll now receive a 5 or 10 percent discount on your invoice.
Changes in the billing system
Our new billing system will only generate one invoice per month for you, even for multiple orders. This reduces the time you need to spend on accounting and lets you focus more on your business.
Payment changes in detail:
Invoicing on the first of the month: You’ll always receive your invoice on the first of the month. A single invoice gives you a better overview of your costs and how orders are prorated.
Prorated charges in the first billing cycle: The first charge will be prorated when you place an order within the monthly billing cycle. Full charges will incur in subsequent billing cycles. (Please note that there is no pro rata billing in the first month for domain purchases)
Automatic retries for credit cards and SEPA payments: We work with GoCardless for SEPA payments and checkout.com for credit card payments. If a payment fails, we’ll automatically try again without your intervention.
Important billing information
Due to the changes in our billing system the information you receive from us will look a little different in the future.
SEPA confirmation from GoCardless: Our new provider GoCardless will send you a confirmation email for new SEPA mandates. You’ll also receive notifications about upcoming direct debit payments in the future.
Invoice number for bank transfers: Bank transfers now use the invoice number as reference.
New invoice layout: Your invoices will look a little different from now on and include a better overview for multiple Boxes and products.
