If your Boxes are running on our new servers, they automatically use the so-called performance burst feature. It automatically allocates more resources to the Box when required, preventing it from going offline.
Among other things, the burst is helpful in these situations:
Ads and promotions that direct unusually large amounts of traffic to your site
Several backend processes running in parallel, such as data imports or image optimizations
Preheat or preload processes, e.g. from caching plugins
ℹ️ You do not have to activate or set up the performance burst feature manually. It's enabled by default and will activate when needed. The burst feature is free of charge and included in all our hosting plans.
