💡 Before you manually update the WordPress version, you should first make a manual backup of your Box. This backup can always be used to switch back to the last current version if necessary.
Follow these steps to update the WordPress version:
Navigate to the Settings tab from your Box overview > then to WordPress > WordPress version.
Select the WordPress version you want to update to from the drop-down.
Press the Start update button.
Your Box will now be updated to the chosen version. Please note that the update can take a while to complete.
⚠️ The WordPress version of a Box can be upgraded in this way, but not downgraded. If you want to downgrade to an older WordPress version, you need to restore a backup of your Box that has the desired version.
