☝️ Before you can migrate your existing mailbox to Raidboxes, you first need to create a mailbox in your Raidboxes Dashboard. All the data from your existing mailbox can then be copied into the new mailbox.
💡 Mailbox migrations are offered as an automated service in cooperation with our external partner Audriga. Please note that a one-time fee of €10 (net) is charged for this service.
There are two ways to start migrating your mailbox to Raidboxes:
Migration as the final step when creating a mailbox
After you've purchased an email address, you have to option to import all your existing data into the new mailbox.
Just click on Book migration service to start the process.
New mailbox migration
If you've already created a new mailbox in your Raidboxes Dashboard, you can also start the migration directly in your dashboard’s email area.
How the mailbox migration works
First of all, you need to select the desired payment method and enter the payment information for the migration.
After a few minutes, you'll receive an email including a personal link for the migration of your mailbox. This link leads you to Audriga's website as they will take care of the data transfer.
💡 Note: During the migration, the data will only be copied into the new mailbox you created. All the data will still be available in the old mailbox during the entire migration process.
Audriga will lead you through a form and ask for all the required information to migrate your mailbox to RAIDBOXES.
In the search box on the left, enter your current email provider. As soon as you click the search box, a drop-down menu opens with a preselection of possible email providers.
Do not change mailbox.org in the field to the right as this is our cooperation partner providing the mailboxes.
In the same form, please provide the email address where you want to receive status messages about the migration.
Now you just have to accept the terms of use and the privacy statement.
You will automatically be redirected to the section Add account. In the Source account field, enter the part of the email address (of the mailbox you want to migrate to Raidboxes) that comes before @.

For the Destination account, enter the email address you've created in your Raidboxes Dashboard. You also need to enter the passwords for both mailboxes.
⚠️ We recommend setting a new password just for the duration of the migration and changing it again when the migration is over.
When you click on Check, the following symbols should appear:
💡 If there are any problems with the migration, take a look in your inbox. Some settings in your mailbox might need to be changed before you can move it to Raidboxes. If this is the case, you'll receive further information via email.
If the verification of both passwords is successful, you can now click Add.
👉 If you want to migrate multiple mailboxes, you can also upload a CSV file containing the necessary credentials.
When you've finished entering the necessary information, Audriga will generate an estimated duration for the migration. This time varies and is based on the amount of data to be transferred. The processing time can therefore range from a few minutes up to several hours. You can choose whether to start the migration straight away or postpone it to a later time.
Now you just have to confirm the migration of your mailbox one final time.
Which data is transferred during the migration?
When you transfer your mailbox to Raidboxes, your personal calendar and contacts are transferred to our servers in addition to your emails.
