For automated mailbox migrations, we recommend the Audriga migration service.
The migration is set up, paid for, and carried out directly through Audriga.
Your data is copied to your new Raidboxes mailbox during the migration. The data in your existing mailbox remains unchanged.
What you need for the mailbox migration
Before you start the migration, make sure you have:
an existing Raidboxes mailbox
the login details for your current mailbox with sufficient storage
the login details for your new Raidboxes mailbox
an email address where you can receive status updates about the migration

Step 1: Check the available storage of your Raidboxes mailbox
Before starting the migration, make sure that your new Raidboxes mailbox has enough available storage for the data you want to transfer.
The storage included in your email plan can be distributed across multiple mailboxes.
You can adjust the amount of storage assigned to each mailbox individually.
To check or adjust the storage space:
Open the Emails tab in the Raidboxes Dashboard.
Click the down arrow next to the relevant mailbox and select Inbox Settings.
Check the storage assigned to the mailbox and adjust it if necessary.
š” Important: Make sure your new Raidboxes mailbox has sufficient storage space for the data in your existing mailbox before starting the migration.
Step 2: Start the mailbox migration with Audriga
Go to the Audriga migration service to start setting up your mailbox migration.

Step 3: Select your current and new provider
First, select the email provider you're migrating from and Raidboxes as your new provider.

In the search field on the left, enter your current email provider. Audriga will also suggest a selection of common providers when you click the search field.
2ļøā£ New provider
In the search field on the right, enter āRaidā and select Raidboxes as your new provider.
Step 4: Enter an email address for status updates
Enter an email address where you'd like to receive status updates about your mailbox migration, then click Proceed.

Step 5: Add and check your current and new mailbox
Next, enter the login details for your current mailbox and your new Raidboxes mailbox.
1ļøā£ Current mailbox
Under Current mailbox, enter the username or email address and password for the mailbox you want to migrate.
The required username may vary depending on your current email provider.
2ļøā£ New mailbox
Under New mailbox (Raidboxes), enter the login details for your new Raidboxes mailbox.
Use your full Raidboxes email address as the username and enter the corresponding password.

š” Click Check to make sure Audriga can access the respective mailbox.
If both checks are successful, click Confirm.
Having trouble checking your current mailbox?

First, check the following:
Are the login details correct?
Does your current email provider allow access by external services?
Have you received an email from your current provider with further instructions?
Depending on your provider, you may need to confirm the connection or adjust certain settings in your current mailbox before Audriga can access it.
Optional: Add more mailboxes
If you want to migrate multiple mailboxes, you can add additional mailboxes in Audriga.
For larger migrations, Audriga also allows you to upload a CSV file containing the login details for multiple mailboxes.

Step 6: Check the migration duration and select a start time
Once Audriga has successfully checked your mailboxes, you'll see the estimated Duration of migration.
Under Earliest start of migration, you can choose whether the mailbox migration should start immediately or at a later time.
š” The actual migration duration depends, among other things, on the amount of data in your current mailbox.
Then click Proceed.
Step 7: Pay for and start the mailbox migration
Finally, Audriga will show you a summary of your planned mailbox migration and the associated costs.
Review the details and pay the migration fee directly through Audriga.
Once the payment is complete, you can start the mailbox migration. Audriga will begin transferring your data at the time you selected.
You'll receive status updates at the email address you provided earlier.

The data in your current mailbox will not be deleted during the migration.
What data is transferred during the mailbox migration?
The data Audriga can transfer depends on your current email provider and the interfaces supported by the email services involved.
Audriga generally supports the transfer of:
emails
address books
calendars
tasks
notes
certain configuration settings
During the setup process, Audriga will show you which data can be transferred for your specific mailbox migration.
