All Boxes at Raidboxes get natively served with a SSL certificate. It can be used for single site Boxes as well as for Multisite Boxes. SSL is especially important:
after activating a Box
when you add new domains to an already activated Box
for the security and loading time of your site
As SSL certificate a Let's Encrypt DV certificate is created for your Box. This contains all domains that were connected to your Box at the time of creation or activation.
SSL is a must for Google and Page Speed
HTTPS will not only increase your page speed, but it's also an important factor for Google. In the vast majority of cases, it's even a legal requirement. You should therefore never disable SSL for long periods of time.
SSL for Demo Boxes
An SSL certificate will only be created for the domains on your Box once it has been activated. For Demo Boxes this means: If your Box is not yet connected to your domain and you're using the temporary myraidbox.de domain, a shared certificate valid for all myraidbox.de domains will be used.
Integrate your own external SSL certificate for your Box
We can integrate an external SSL certificate for a fee of €30 (net). We need the following certificate files for the integration:
CSR,
CRT,
CA-BUNDLE,
and the certificate key.
