Setup with AutoConfig on iPhone & iPad (iOS)
With AutoConfig, you can automatically set up your email account on your iPhone or iPad.
Step 1: Download the configuration profile
Open the following link in Safari on your iPhone or iPad:
iOS will automatically download the profile → click Allow.
Step 2: Install the downloaded profile
Go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management and install the downloaded profile Autoconfiguration IMAP/SMTP Auth.
Step 3: Enter configuration details for your mail account
Enter the information needed to set up your email account now, and have your new password ready.
Whenever you are asked to enter an email address or username to configure the IMAP or SMTP server, you must always enter the email address of your mailbox (3 times in total).
Confirm the installation by checking the ✔️. The new profile should now appear under Configuration Profiles in VPN and Device Management.
When you open the Mail app now, your new mailbox will appear automatically.
If setup fails:
If you enter the wrong username and/or password, try setting it up again. Your username is always the email address associated with your mail account.
If setup fails a second time, reset your mailbox password as described here.
