Order mailbox

New mailboxes can be ordered via the email overview in the Dashboard (👉 here’s the step-by-step guide).

Please note that creating a mailbox is only possible if the corresponding domain is already hosted with Raidboxes. If your domain is not yet with Raidboxes, you can easily transfer it to our platform.

Important: Raidboxes mailboxes can only be ordered for domains that are not yet linked to a mailbox.org mailbox. If you are using mailbox.org mailboxes for the respective domain, any additional mailboxes will also be created with this provider.

Migrate mailbox

Migrating a mailbox from an external provider

If you want to migrate the data of a mailbox from an external provider to Raidboxes, you can use the paid migration service from audriga.

Migrating a mailbox from mailbox.org

As long as a domain is linked to mailbox.org, no mailboxes can be created on our new mail servers. We recommend waiting to migrate the mailbox until we offer an internal migration phase. Of course, we will inform you well in advance.

Set up catch-all

With the catch-all feature, all emails sent to non-existent email addresses of your domain can be automatically forwarded to a specific mailbox.

👉 To use the catch-all function, you need a mailbox with the same name, e.g., catchall@yourdomain.de.

Example for catch-all

Domain: beispiel.de

Catch-all address for: catchall@beispiel.de

Emails sent to hallo@beispiel.de, wordpress@example.de, or misspelled addresses like inof@beispiel.de will still end up in the mailbox of catchall@beispiel.de.

Manage email storage

In the storage section of your mailbox overview, you can monitor the storage usage of your mailbox and assign a maximum storage limit to each mailbox.

This limit depends on the total storage of your plan and on how much storage space has already been allocated to other mailboxes.

The minimum allocated storage per mailbox is 100 MB. The more mailboxes you create within a plan, the less storage each individual mailbox can use.
