Transfer ownership of Box

Transfer Boxes to your customers or colleagues with just one click.

With Raidboxes you can transfer boxes to other Raidboxes user accounts at any time. Agencies and freelancers use this function, for example, to transfer fully developed pages to their customers.

There are two things to note when changing ownership:

  1. The recipient of the change of ownership must activate the box for a fee as part of the change of ownership. So please make sure that your customers do not conclude a contract for the box to be transferred beforehand. (If you are transferring the site to a customer, recommend the appropriate contract to your customer directly).

  2. If you are a Raidboxes affiliate, a change of ownership is automatically tracked as commission-relevant.

And this is how the change of ownership works

If you are the owner of a Box, you will find the option to transfer the Box to another user in the Box overview on the right. To start the change of ownership, simply click on Transfer box.

Now enter the e-mail address of the new owner.

The new owner will immediately receive an e-mail with a confirmation link. They must click on this link and can then complete the change of ownership by activating the BOX directly with the Plan they choose.

If the new owner does not yet have a Raidboxes account, a free account must be created with us before the box can be taken over.

⚠️ The e-mail address must be identical. This means that your customer should not enter a different e-mail address when registering. Otherwise, the change of ownership may not be tracked correctly as affiliate advertising.

After each change of ownership, you automatically remain as admin of the site and still have access to the hosting settings of the box. So you can continue to support your customers directly.
