From May 6, 2025, we will transfer existing storage extensions into paid add-on contracts – as a Box owner, you will receive an email about the conclusion of the add-on contract from May 6.
ℹ️ If one of your Boxes uses a SSD storage extension, you were informed by us for the first time by email on 31.03., 14.04., 28.04. and 05.05.
The message contains information on which Boxes are specifically affected, as well as a preliminary price calculation. If you no longer have the email, please contact our support team.

Please note: The add-ons for SSD storage expansions cannot be combined with each other. From the Pro plan upwards, the maximum SSD storage of a Box is 100 GB (calculation: 20 GB default memory + 80 GB storage extension).

Options to object
If you would like to object to the switch to a paid contract, simply object to this change by May 5, 2025 using the following form: 👉 Object now.
If you object, you will continue to receive the storage extension free of charge for three months from May 6, 2025. This gives you enough time to prepare for the changeover and reduce your storage usage.
Important: After your objection, your data stored on the storage extension will be automatically deleted on August 6, 2025.

Based on the SSD allocation of your Box, you can see how much memory your website is using and how much memory is currently still free.

When will the first billing for the storage expansion take place?
As billing always takes place on the first of the month, the first invoice will be issued at the beginning of June 2025. Please note that you will find an item for prorated billing for the billing period 06.05.–01.06.
