In phases 1 and 2, we will upgrade all Mini, Starter, Fully Managed and Pro Boxes to the new servers. In what is expected to be the final phase of the Migrations, Phase 3, all Pro XL, Business, Business XL, Business XXL and Enterprise level boxes will follow.

📆 An exact start date for the high traffic upgrades has not yet been set. All affected customers will be informed with sufficient time to prepare.

Upgrades work in a similar way to phases 1 and 2

The upgrades for the High Traffic Boxes basically work in the same way as in phases 1 and 2:

  • If your site exclusively uses domains whose DNS settings are managed at Raidboxes, the upgrade can probably be fully automated. You do not need to make any preparations or subsequent changes to your domain.

  • If your box uses externally managed domains, you will need to change the A and AAAA records of your domains accordingly. Of course, your box will not simply go offline after the upgrade: A domain proxy gives you at least 14 days to make the DNS changes.

ℹ️ Just as in phases 1 and 2, you will also receive several weeks' notice for your High Traffic Boxes and have at least 14 days to change the DNS settings.
