What is a WordPress Multisite?
A WordPress Multisite allows you to use several WordPress sites in one WordPress installation. That means you have one login, one installation and you can manage all your WordPress sites with only one WordPress admin.
When should you use a WordPress Multisite?
There are different use cases for a WordPress Multisite setup:

What should you not use WordPress Multisite for?
Customer websites
The idea of combining several customer websites in one Multisite and thus minimizing administration effort and possibly costs may sound tempting at first. There are, however, good reasons not to do it: 
If the business relationship ends or the requirements change and the website has to be migrated, it can involve a large amount of effort and high costs. Converting a Multisite subsite into a single site is possible, but not an easy undertaking.
No separate FTP access is possible. All content is in the same WordPress folder structure and can be viewed by all FTP users or admins of the Box.
