As an alternative to our managed migration service, you can also migrate your WordPress site yourself using the plugin All-in-One WP Migration.

How to migrate your WordPress site with All-in-One WP Migration:

Step 1: Export files

Please first install the plugin All-in-One WP Migration on your current WordPress website. Next, open the plugin settings and select Export. This will take you directly to the Export website view.

In the Export to drop-down menu, select File.

Your website will then be automatically exported to one file.

This process can take a few minutes, depending on the size of your WordPress site.

Important: The browser must stay open during the entire process!

After a successful export, the file will be made available for you to download.

Step 2: Import files

Now create a new BOX in your Raidboxes account. When the Box is ready, log in to the WordPress backend and install the plugin All in One WP Migration here too. After installation, select the option Import.

A window will open where you can upload the previously downloaded file. Either drag and drop the file into the field or click on Import from and select File. Select the file you downloaded in the previous step.

The import will start automatically.

Important: Keep the browser open during the entire upload!

When the import is finished, a message will open notifying you that the content of the BOX will be overwritten with the imported data. Select Continue to accept.

When the import has been completed successfully, click on Finish.

You can now fully test the function and design of your WordPress site.
