Introduction & important information

These instructions apply both to setting up a new mailbox and to mailboxes that have been migrated to our new email product.

⚠️ If your mailbox has been migrated to our new email product, you must first remove your existing account via Manage Account/Remove!

Set up a mailbox in Outlook

Step 1: Add an account

  1. Open Outlook on your computer.

  2. Click on the Add Account link in the navigation area.

  3. Enter the email address for which you want to add the mailbox to Outlook and click Continue.

Step 2: Enter your login details

Enter your password and click Show more.

This is because the next step requires the server data to be adjusted manually, as the suggested data does not match the necessary data.

Step 3: Enter manual server data

Fill in the fields as follows:

  • IMAP Incoming server: mail-rb.securemail.pro

  • Port: 993 (Default setting remains)

  • Secure connection type (Incoming): SSL/TLS (Default setting remains)

SMTP-Configuration

  • SMTP username: Your email address (Outlook automatically takes this from your previous entry.)

  • SMTP password: (It will remain empty because your mailbox with us does not have different passwords.)

  • SMTP Outgoing server: smtp-rb.securemail.pro

  • Port: 587

  • Secure connection type (Outgoing): START/TLS

Click Continue

Now you need to confirm that your emails will be synchronized to the Microsoft Cloud. Click Continue again.

Step 4: Complete setup

If you have entered all your login details correctly, Outlook will soon display a success message.

You can complete the setup by clicking Done or Add another account.
