By default, we automatically ensure that your Box always runs with the latest WordPress version. Security and maintenance updates, also known as minor releases, are installed directly after release. You can recognize minor releases by their three-digit version number, e.g. 6.2.2
⚠️ Even if you activate the WordPress version freeze on your Box, we will continue to install maintenance and security updates.
How to freeze the WordPress version of your Box
Follow these steps to freeze the WP version of your Box:
Go to the Settings tab from your Box overview.
Click on the WordPress section in the menu to the left.
Select the option WordPress version.
The current WordPress version of your Box is displayed under the heading WordPress version. You will also find the option to freeze the WordPress version here.
💡If your WordPress version is not the latest WordPress version, you can also use the same menu to update your Box.
When the version freeze is bypassed:
Raidboxes always supports the last three WordPress versions. If your WordPress version is in danger of becoming deprecated and is no longer supported by us, the activated version freeze will be ignored and WordPress will be updated to the lowest version supported by us.
